Miles Bayer
Actor/Singer
ABOUT
A Bay Area born actor brought up around artists and a blooming arts community that continues to influence his work today.
Miles recently graduated with his BFA in musical theatre from the Hartt School and is excited to apply his training further in the real world. His mix of high-energy commitment and emotional depth have landed him parts ranging from Lord Farquaad in Shrek to Claudius in Hamlet. More often than not you’ll see him as the Douchebags, Villains, or funny guys of the world.
Though Musical Theatre was his first love, acting convinced him that this is his life. Every opportunity he got to understand a new person kept him coming back again, striving to be better every single time, and still continuing to. Miles believes if we set no limit for ourselves, we can always find new ways to improve.
Miles work also goes beyond the stage. In a world/country of division and distrust, he sees it as necessary to not just be a performer but a creative. From starting as a playwright in high school, Miles has branched out to screenwriting, poetry, and songwriting. With stories of American politics, Queer experiences, and religion, he hopes to provide a young perspective on big issues.
